HISTORY OF ANDROID VERSIONS

"Android" Today's one of most popular mobile operating system. Did you ever think how android versions loaded on smart mobiles evolved? if you don't, now take the time to grasp some knowledge. Android versions started from v1.0 and now the latest version available for us is v7.1. The journey is not finished till, it is still moving fast through the right path with eagle eyes to catch new possibilities that makes human life more easier. Android Version 1.0(no code name)was initially released on 23 September 2008. after v1.0, Android version 1.1 released(on 9 February 2009 was internally know as Petit Four). After both of the releases, Android versions started to know in terms of their OS names, As follows
                        * Cupcake (v1.5) on 27 April 2009
                        * Donut (v1.6) on 15 September 2009
                        * Eclair (v2.0-2.1) on 26 October 2009
                        * Froyo (v2.2-2.2.3) on 20 May 2010
                        * Gingerbread (v2.3-2.3.7) on 6 December 2010
                        * Honeycomb (v3.0-3.2.6) on 22 February 2011
                        * Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.0-4.0.4) on 18 October 2011
                        * Jelly Bean (v4.1-4.3.1) on 9 July 2012
                        * KitKat (v4.4-4.4.4) on 31 October 2013
                        * Lollipop (v5.0-5.1.1) on 12 November 2014
                        * Marshmallow (v6.0-6.0.1) on 5 October 2015
                        * Nougat (v7.0-7.1.2) on 22 August 2016
                        * Oreo is Going to launch soon.
